What beautiful lights - very tasteful!
From the small photo on the portal, I thought this was going to be sunlight reflecting from golden fall foilage. In taking a closer look, I see it's Christmas lights. Nice photo, our city is lighting up for this cheerful season, too.

From what I remember some lights were left up all year. I always enjoyed when they were finally illuminated after they had waited patiently the rest of the year!
